Women's Day Committee
Through their event in March, La Journée de la femme, in partnership with the HGMH Auxiliary raised $17,000 in support of Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital. The Committee purchased a new examination table for the outpatient clinic area which can be raised and lowered electronically, allowing patients a safe, comfortable, and accessible way to get onto the exam table. The Committee also purchased a blanket warmer for the inpatient unit, which will improve patient comfort by allowing quick access to heated blankets.
HGMH is grateful for the tireless work of the Committee for hosting such an excellent annual event and for contributing so much to safe and quality patient care at our hospital. This was the seventh year the Journée de la femme event was held and raised funds for HGMH.
