Women’s Day Committee Alexandria Raises over $28,000 for Patient Comfort at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital

Alexandria, ON – Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) is pleased to announce the acquisition of the revolutionary Aladdin Heat on Demand food system. This cutting edge-edge technology ensures that patients receive hot food hot and cold food cold, significantly enhancing the quality and freshness of their meals.

The purchase of the Aladdin Heat on Demand system was made possible thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the Journée de la Femme – Women’s Day Committee. Through their tireless dedication and commitment, the committee successfully raised over $28,000 and were able to cover the cost of the entire purchase, demonstrating unwavering support for the hospital and its patients.

This technology will help to reduce food waste and increase overall patient satisfaction and quality care, as food is an important contributor to health and wellness when our patients are on their road to recovery.
